Bloggers Recognition Award

November 9, 2017

So I was pondering through my twitter account and got tagged by the lovely Beth, more known as Beff Shuff for the Bloggers Recognition Award. These kind of tags like Beth said in her post, It means so much to have recognition and be building each other up rather than this industry bringing each other down. The amount of drama in the community is ridiculous. I'm incredibly thankful for being nominated.

The Rules:

1 • Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
2 • Write a post to show the award.
3• Give a brief story of how your blog started.
4 • Give 2 pieces of advice to new bloggers.
5 • Nominate 5 other bloggers you want to pass this award to.
6 • Comment on each blog and let them know you have nominated them and provide the link to the post you created.

Number One; Thank The Blogger.

Beth, Thank you very much for nominating me for this award, I remember the days when you messaged me asking when I ran my old blog how I did it and what I used and now look at you 18 months on. You're incredible miss! Please go check her blog out after you've read the rest of this post ;) https://beffshuff.com

Number two; Write a post to show the award.

This is basically this post so far!

NUMBER THREE ; GIVE A BRIEF STORY OF HOW YOUR BLOG STARTED

Traditionally my blog never started with this layout and so on, my blog started well over 2/3 years ago on Blogger and then I moved to Wordpress and then moved to this way of producing my blog. I started 2/3 years ago when I read and loved the likes of Em Sheldon, Suzie from Hello October, Zoella and so on, and even though writing/english wasn't my strong point, my strong points were a paint brush and pad I loved the idea of writing something on an informal level that people would read and maybe sympathise and work along with.

Number Four ; Two pieces of advice to new bloggers.

Number One - If you want to do it, DO IT. If you feel you don't know what software to use or experiment with i'd stick with something simple like Blogger or Wordpress, it's the easiest to use and the easiest to get it looking beautiful without breaking the bank with layouts and domain names and so on and so forth. If you feel like you don't have the camera equipment, unless you have a nokia 64 or whatever brick it is, your images will be fine - Use natural lighting, lay it on your bedding - BE INVENTIVE. If you want to start doing something just do it and you will grow and learn with your blog and I personally think it's nice to see things improve when you gain knowledge.

Number Two - It works for any life lessons, be nice, be appreciative. When bloggers take the time to look and read your blog and tag you in blogs like this, do the blog, spend the 15/20 minutes. Appreciate them. Be nice, other bloggers aren't your competition, we're here to help each other and grow and learn together. If you appreciate people, they'll appreciate you. Treat others how you want to be treated.

-

Number Five ; Tag 5 other bloggers to do this post.

Instead of tagging 5 bloggers i've decided to make it open and anyone who reads this post and has a blog to do this post. It's nice and quick and short and it would be really nice to see your posts. So if you comment on the post after you've done the blog i'll hop along and have a read. It's nice to leave posts like this open for anyone to do to watch people and learn a little more about all the lovely bloggers which are on this platform.

Thank-you for reading. Like I said above if you do go ahead and write a post about this award please do send it forward to me so I can have a read.

Lots of love,
